I have a pet broad-faced sac spider named Tooty! i found her on my kitchen floor last month and adopted her on a whim because i didn’t wanna release her into the cold outside lol. i dont handle her usually but shes very shy and fascinating to watch. she likes to eat decaying matter (it’s safe and natural for her particular species), especially mushy strawberries!

Yesterday I was cleaning tooty’s terrarium & i picked up a clump of moss and WHOOPS she fell out of it onto the lid and she was so SCARED but she didn’t run away… instead when i offered her my hand she scurried over to it to hide in my fingers . and then when i put her in her house she zoomed back in ;o;

who knew a common house spider i found on my floor a could be such a sweet girl!!! spiders are so cute and im consistently fascinated by how well they take to being pampered LOL.

please be kind to the spiders in your house! they TRULY are more scared of you than you are of them.
