And another, a Dollzone Anubis! I added claws to the feet to match his hand, dyed him partially black and then airbrushed on top. He got blue and golden highlights to add a little bit of pop to the black base.

Unfortunately I dyed half my kitchen black as well, did not expect iDye Poly to just...go...everywhere in the air. But the black is pretty nice!:')

Barren Field by AraDolls Via Flickr: Long before Ryanne became leader of the black Knights, or before she even became a soldier at all, she was the eldest daughter of a poor farmer's family. Trapped in the "dust bowl" of the Black Realm, the dry plains in the east of the country, she grew up surrounded by vast nothing and the constant fear of starving looming above her and her family. One day she left this place and her family behind, wearing the uniform of a dead knight she had found in the fields, in hopes of finding a better life. A bit over two years ago I commissioned this outfit by @ponivpopone on Instagram (time flies). I always wanted to have an outfit for Ryanne that shows who she was before she became a soldier, and I was very thrilled when this finally came true! However, since then I had looked for the perfect location to take pictures in. I wanted a dead, dry and vast field but am sadly living the middle of a city and very limited with my transportation options. Last year in October I finally got an opportunity to take these pictures, but sadly it was an absolute mess. It was incredibly windy, too windy even for this motive, and my lens kept on causing problems. I came back from the field completely caked in dirt and with pictures that didn't really satisfy me at all. However, I decided to finally look into the folder again and see what I can do. Sparks 相片擁有者 AraDolls 透過 Flickr： This was a very quick test to see if an idea I came up with in the morning would be possible. I had planned to take the picture outside, but with the weather and my limited options I went for my room. Bad idea, by the way. Unfortunately for the sparklers to look right on pictures I would need to go a lot closer and use a different aperture. At least the first isn't possible, don't want to risk any damage to the outfit :T So instead of some sharp sparks from metal scratching over metal take some overly dramatically bokeh sparkles. This commission kept me busy the last months. It's a Dream Valley Sylves, and included: - two tone full-body dye job, including wings and tail (the tail alone has 19 parts...) - full body airbrush job (smoothing out the dye job, adding the actual airbrush color fades on top, metallic shimmer effects, scale details) - face-up - sueding, and stringing it back together I don't even know how many hours I put into this guy, I guess I should just be glad he wasn't SD :D Sadly a lot of the really cool effects (like his color shifting claws, or the partly invisible scales that only show up in certain angles) are invisible on photos, but he sparkles a lot in real. Bit behind with commission posts here, so I'll just drop them now one by one! First, Soom Bix arm on Ringdoll body. Added some extra texture to the body so it blends in better with the crab arm :)

Another chess figure, the Knight this time. I’m so happy she’s all done now again, after the last face-up had an accident right after me finishing it...but it’s okay, I like this one way better now.
