Zenarelle...

Meet my newest bjd, Zenarelle. I have yet to put in her eyes, but I couldn't help but share her. I've been absolutely blown away by how beautiful she is.

She's a 1/6 scale 30Rime with 29Muse body in new normal color by @doll-granado ! I got her the fairy queen set but gave her the other white dress instead of the fairy queen dress. Here's a few more pictures of her:

I realized I never did comparison photos with Orchid (⁠・⁠o⁠・⁠)

Turns out the hight difference is all leg 🤣 honestly I have been thinking of shortening the Granado legs so he would be a more realistic 1/12 scale as he is a bit over

Orchid was intended to be a bit on the short side of 1/12 scale adult not everyone can be 180cm models u.u

I think I will just fix the surface and send him off to get cast all flaws be damned or I will never finish him (⁠╥⁠﹏⁠╥⁠) when I do a pre-order I will send him off whether I fill a bare minimum or not, the quantity of orders would just determine if I do a small or bigger batch

COLOR IS A LIE AND IT VEXES ME DAILY

I don't know if posting this helps anyone color matching to the deeply unoptimized for SEO company "Whitedoll" / "白零 White" (they also haven't given an actual name to most of their dolls... I have so far only found like two other people who have dolls from this company) but I suppose it might be helpful for Granado doll colors.

Granado tan seems to react to the light very differently from the Whitedoll tan… In some situations, it's like "maybe this will work" and in others it's like "no" Granado tan is more neutral and…. an unquantifiable amount of darker…

Rosy Tan and Amber were tripping me out because sometimes they look identical and sometimes they don't (it did not help that hand pose F and G are also similar).

I like the tone of Rosy Tan, but it feels a little too pale for the character I want.

Proportion-wise, it does fit well for the larger Whitedoll. Kind of a Yaoi Hands situation for my smaller Whitedoll.

I do like Granado's new "snap on" hands concept (more like screw-on).

It's not as fast as magnet hands, but I think that is fine for the peace of mind since sometimes magnet hands fall off when you're not paying attention.
