After Tommy's father walked out on them, his mother got really bad about cooking and eating. So little Tommy had been forced to learn to use the stove very early on and would often burn his hands accidentally because he wasn't sure what to do. As time went on, he would go and buy groceries with the foodstamps he was given, until the time that his mom started drinking. After that point, he turned to stealing food, small scraps at a time because she wouldn't feed him.

Tommy once looked up to his father. When he was really small and ignorant to the fights, he would tells his teachers that his dad was the best in the world. And then his father stopped picking him up from school and Tommy quickly learned the ways home to avoid the bad streets.

(Going with the the headcanon that Luna is more Tommy's little sister than his cousin) Tommy and Luna go out a lot when he can see her. He takes her to ice cream shops and book stores and anywhere else she wants to go, somewhere always where the two of them can be happy and together. And at the end of the day, when they're exhausted and she falls asleep in his arms like little kids do, he takes her back to her mom and tucks her in and makes sure she's safe before going home.

Tommy gets really angry with Billy on occasion -- never voices his anger, but it happens often. He always feels guilty afterwards, but the amount of times that Billy complains that his life suck just really upsets him. Because Billy had what Tommy never did and the fact that he doesn't see that just fuels his anger.

Tommy crashes as Wally and Artemis' places a lot. Sometimes he stays for a few nights, sometimes he stays for weeks on end. At Wally's, he never really talks about his past, unless he's so sleep deprived that it just slips his mind but will talk about their friends and current lives and play video games. At Artemis', the two of them will sit around and talk, and do yoga and talk some more.

Tommy has no qualms about killing the people who have hurt him or people he cares about. He's angry at the world and they're doing nothing to make it better and it infuriates him more than he can imagine.

Tommy's never had an old best friend -- the person who could come close to that was Lisa, but even then their relationship bordered on romantic inclination than friendship.

Tommy never met his birth grandparents. He never asked about them, since he was gone for a really long time, but he used to see photos of them. But he never knew their names or what they were like -- he never even asked his mom about them.

Tommy's favourite teacher was his fourth grade English teacher. She had ADHD (which he had been diagnosed as, at the time) and worked around him to help him get better. He grew to love her stories, which she published in anthologies, and really got into English literature after that. He doesn't like to discuss his reading habits with anyone because he's afraid it's not "cool" for guys to read. He still keeps up with her stories and sends her emails every time a new one comes out.

Tommy's romantic life borders on "all talk but no walk." He's had a total of one steady relationships since turning seventeen -- with Wally. Neither his relationship with Kate or Lisa could be classified as steady (rather, it was on-off and definitely not stable nor steady). They tended to use the girl/boyfriend terms liberally, but he's never really had a relationship that's more than just dates except for his current one. He's also never actually had sex, nor is he all that experienced with kissing or anything else. He's pretty much a virgin in every sense of the word. He likes to flirt, but he has got absolutely nothing to back it up. (this is probably /not/ what the question was asking but idgaf suck my dick)

Tommy is incredibly flexible. Rather disgustingly so -- as a kid he used to see how far he could bend on a day to day basis and eventually, trained himself into being nearly a contortionist. Sometimes he just chills out in a reverse lotus position or backbends.

Tommy likes to keep his exes as friends -- which is easy, considering he only really has a few. He has so few friends already, he can't imagine just cutting them out of his life.
