At the start of the series, Faragonda explains a fairy earns her Enchantix when saving someone from their planet.

This leaves many arguing Tecna's Enchantix is a plot hole, as her sacrifice saves Andros, which isn't her home world nor had her people on it.

But I argue it makes sense, as with her sacrifice Tecna did save someone from Zenith: herself.

Hadn't she closed the portal, everyone on Andros would have died, her included.

It was only her sacrifice that saved her (& everyone else), earning her Enchantix.

I really like her makeup in the casual fit. Still not a big fan on the writing and dialogue but I think their approach to Tecna building a firewall around her heart is a thousand time better than cyborg Tecna so that’s a win. She’s still the smart girl that doesn’t know how to handle her emotions like in the OG and that makes her very relatable for the smart girlies who don’t like to socialize out there

I was about to watch the Tecna episode of the reboot (through totally legal means). Out of the entire reboot, it had the best writing and characterization. The reboot is still chopped, let's be clear, but that one episode had glimmers of what the series could be if handled better. There's character moments like the Trix and their relationship with Griffin (especially Icy) that I wish would be explored more. There is a springboard for good storytelling if only the reboot would take it. (And not use ai...)
