Gifflar vs Jifflar frågan fick mig undra om en sak.
Hur uttalar folk lakrits här?
Lakrits eller Lackrits

araku-validrava: AND AND AND
Tomb Raider was a great movie. I’ll admit the plot and the villain were slightly flat and predictable, and some things I still don’t know how they actually happened because they weren’t well-explained. But I think it’s one of the best live action video games movie, much better than the Resident Evil saga for example.
Alicia is absolutely fantastic as Lara, she makes everything believable, gives depth and emotion to finally replace badass babe Lara Croft, and is really like the new trilogy Lara. She is scared and inexperienced and sensible, but this doesn’t affect her capacity to “make it” at everything she attemps. Also, they do a good job at showing you how she fails and learns. Fails one, learns quickly, won’t fail next time.
The plot is sort of a mix of Tomb Raider and Rise of the Tomb Raider. It takes the island and Himiko from the first game, and the Trinity and you know who from the sequel. Though Himiko is very different in the movie. I thought the handmaidens were gonna wake up like the army in the game but that didn’t happen either. They altered the story to make it more fit to general audience (the rooms full of fresh and old corpses with blood are all just in drawings that misinterpret the story of Himiko, the splatter element is gone) and tried to give the “curse” a more “scientific” explanation. Even though this didn’t actually explain the storms.
Anyway, it’s a simple movie with a simple scheme, and some things are spoiled from the games if you’ve played them, but overall the character is the most important thing to me and Alicia and Lara were amazing. Also, fantastic action scenes and INCREDIBLE games references.
My favorite reference is when (not a huge spoiler, it happens early) Vogel has Lara at gun point and you start hearing her heartbeat get faster just like when the screen becomes black and white and bloody in the games when your ass is about to die. Fantastic!!!
