"Would you care to join me for a cup of wine?"
A curious smile brightened Jareth's expression at the invitation extended to him from the other elf. "I would love to."

Sweater Weather (toddler!thran)
---- The first hint was the shifting, and the small giggles, something that often accompanied his visits to his son. He'd come from Greenwood, and made his way to Doriath in order to celebrate his son's birthday. Oropher felt a tug on his robes, and he smiled, in one large swoosh, he cleared the area behind him of all fabrics, revealing a tiny toddler Thranduil. -- "Hello, ion nin." He knelt and picked up the elfling, holding him high in the air with a smile on his face, "I cannot believe you have grown so since I last laid eyes on you." He smiled, looking into the eyes of his son, seeing his mother's gaze in them, in the deep turquoise.
---- "Tell me, what have you planned for your special day?"

From out of the the forest at the edge of Thranduil's guard-wall, running as fast as its little legs could carry it, dashed a 2' tall goblin. The creature was strange looking, unlike any of the goblins that middle earth was home to, and it resembled a mixture of a ferret and a bat. It did have wings, but they were too small to actually carry the goblin more than a few feet.
Despite it not looking like any of the goblins in the area, its energy would still feel like a goblin. And it would most likely be a jarring sight to any elves standing guard. The creature managed to make its way to the closed gate, and began banging on it desperately, all the while looking over its shoulder behind it in a state of panic. In one of its little hands it held the hacked off end-limb of one of those giant forest dwelling spiders, and in its other hand it held a crystal orb.
*toddler Thran wobbles to his ada for lots of leg hugs* Good, Ada! Feel good!
*scoops him up with a chuckle* Hello, little one!

WHATS THE NAME OF THE BOOK
It's in my mother tongue though. The title is Elfenmagie, roughly translated as Magic of the Elves. It's a mix of the story of Atlantis and a strong influence of Tolkien - about 300 pages long. ^^ I do think you should be able to find it if you search it in google ^^
