Surface level fear - someone interrupting her work. It’s really more of an annoyance. Repressed fear - disappointing Tallah. This would be the “repressed” fear of any Haja Dhan’ya dragon (save, of course, Mahira). Deep fear - failure. Total, and complete failure, the inability to move forward in her studies.

7. What feature (physical or otherwise) do they hate most about themselves? - Araora

An experiment melted and mutated her face and a few other parts of her body. She struggles with it

Unlike the Priests and Priestesses, the Scholars actually in fact do contain a lot of dragons that have a very powerful natural connection with their deity.

Scholars are forbidden to practice magic. They are only allowed to study it. They understand magic in ways the Priestesses never will, but they utterly lack the ability and understanding of it to actually cast the magic. This cripples both of the orders and leaves them dependent on each other.
