Fidra Ignis is a pensioner with a plan: to save all of dragon-kind from an impossibly deadly danger with only her sharp wit, her big heart, and her extremely reluctant grandson who just wants to stay at home and let somebody else save the world. Together, they will make fierce enemies and fiercer friends, rediscover unknown lands, and change the course of the entire world. Or, you know, get immediately thwarted by the sheer impossibility of their mission and go home for tea and biscuits before the day is done. Either way, it’s going to be a lot of fun!
