Hello all!

It’s been a busy month! Between the road-trip, getting stuff ready for an art show and writing, I’ve neglected my blog. I’m sorry. In an attempt to make up for the long silence, this post is packed with extra images.

These photographs were taken in and around Victoria, British Columbia.

The next group were taken along the Washington State coast – Arbutus trees.

These were taken along that same highway, traveling at highway speed.

This brings us to Astoria, Oregon. I’ve already posted images from this part of the trip, but I held three back.

Late May Update . . . Hello all! It's been a busy month! Between the road-trip, getting stuff ready for an art show and writing, I've neglected my blog.

OMG I HEAR NIGHTMARES ABOUT THAT ALL THE TIME ARE THEY ACTUALLY THAT BAD!!??? I DO NOT LIKE SPIDERS AT ALL OK

I was once trapped in my shower of the basement suite I rented near Mount Doug park for 15 minutes because a spider the size of my hand was on the floor outside of the door....

And in that same apartment, a spider came from my roommate’s room to my room. On the carpet.  And I could HEAR IT STOMPING!  D:  !!!! 

Needless to say, when I moved back the following year, I rented elsewhere.  No arbutus trees nearby.  That was my only requirement.  Never saw spiders worse than I did while living on Tyndall Avenue.
