The Republic’s AyyRC-170 has to be my favorite Starfighter in all of Star Wars. It is armed damn well, is very sleek and quick moving BUT those extending S-Foils and the large wing cannons make it for me. That name too. AGGRESSIVE Reconaissance seems kinda like and oxymoron doesn’t it? Anyways this is my art piece I made in tribute to my fav fighter. This portrays two 170s on a patrol flight over Coruscant. Thanks for looking and expect more star wars art soon!
Holy change of pace, Batman! Hello, anyone and everyone! This spring break, I’m gearing up to learn the D20 Star Wars Tabletop system (Saga edition). I just wanted to share some tokens from the GMing session. This campaign will be a five-shot taking place ~12 years after the rise of the empire, with the party taking on the roll of ISB Agents hunting down rebel cells. I’ve got some wicked surprises in store for the party, and plenty of Star Wars lore goodness. Anyways, what are these above images? Well, my friends, the first one would be a retired Imperial ARC-170 Starfighter. While the empire may have replaced it’s fleet with Twin-Ion Engines, this ARC-170 (Designated “Ace of Spades”) will provide transport for the party to and from missions. This second picture is the guide NPC and the party’s pilot, named Captain Kel Tek. Despite not having the fancy black pilot helmet, Captain Tek keeps his uniform combat ready in case he has to aid the party on foot. Anyways, more pathfinder stuff will be posted once my other campaign gets rolling, but expect to see the rest of this motley crew when they get drawn! -Atti
