Some Clone-Wars capital ships, the Venator Cruiser and the Providence Dreadnought!
The Venator-class Attack Cruiser was the mainstay of the Republic fleet during the Clone Wars. The ship was armed with a multitude of turbolasers and point-defence weaponry, as well as a massive hangar space for launching starfighters, gunships, and landing craft for planetary assaults. A single Venator could often take control of an entire star system with its complement of clone troopers, heavy tanks, and fighter firepower alone. The Providence-class dreadnought was the primary command vessel, used by Seperatist generals and high-ranking officials. General Grevious himself used one such vessel during the assault on Coruscant, the “Invisible Hand”, to capture Supreme Chancellor Palpatine in an attempt to end the Clone Wars. The Providences were armed with a massive array of turbolasers and carried large amounts of droid starfighters, making them dangerous foes in space combat.
