While the blog/biz account's been putting in double-time for the CLT scene, this one's been collecting a bit of dust, so let me share something fun. Snug's a dope place to hang indefinitely, and somewhere in the last few months, they managed to get a hold of probably/arguably my first beloved arcade fighter. Last week, it was down, but it was up this past Weds and I was sad to have had no quarters at the time. X-Men: Children of the Atom was also one of the reasons I loved heading to an old skating rink on Olde Pineville Rd (might still be there), and truly, along with Mortal Kombat & Tekken, opened up the genre to me. Juggernaut was no punk, but when you're rocking Sentinel, he bit the dust. It was all about him & Omega Red.
