I’m gonna answer for just Genesis because… well comfort character. And otherwise this would be too long xD

1- Favourites thing(s) about this character?

My favourite thing about Genesis (and what drew me to him in the first place) is his desparation, as a character. Every time you see this character, until the very end of his game you’re always looking at someone who’s desperately reaching for something. Whether it’s the fame and glory of being a hero, a cure for degradation, or the help of his friends- and it causes him to act in just the worst ways every time. His frustration and anger about his situation (coupled with a degradation of his body and perhaps mind) is always clouding his judgement and making things worse for him- which is a negative trait true but it’s the thing that drew me to him initially, and I still think it’s the most interesting thing about him.

4- Would you write about this character?

I would, and I have, way back in the day! Writing is something I love to think of doing but I haven’t done it in so long that idk how to start now xD but if/when I do finally try again… it’ll likely be Genesis related lol.

5- What do you not like about this character?

Honestly the only thing I don’t like is that… the things I like the most about him are so far in the background. Genesis isn’t a side character, he’s the main antagonist of Crisis Core- but to see his feelings and like, love for his friends! I feel like you have to squint. The smaller intricacies of his character are there for sure, but they’re almost drowned out by Loveless and Dumbapples and all that symbolism he uses to basically talk in riddles xD

8- Do you think this character is underrated or overrated?

I feel like this is a hot topic in this fandom. xD Genesis is a character you’re either gonna love or hate tbh. I feel like most FF7 enjoyers will hate him (he’s annoying af and is literally retconned into one of the most pivotal moments of FF7 backstory) but a lot of fandom and Crisis Core fans in particular absolutely adore him. So much so that I think a lot of fandom really forgets how much depth he’s actually given in canon, and how much of it is amplified by fanon…

So I mean… underrated in some spaces, overrated in others, honestly I think the love/hate thing he has with this fandom is very well deserved xD

19. What's your biggest insecurity when it comes to your artwork?

that i'll never be as good as i'd like to be. i'm seemingly always chasing some higher point and sometimes i fall into that mindset of comparing my art to other people's (which u should never do). i see tons of mistakes in every single inch of every piece i make and i get RLLLYYY close to deleting a lot of them sometimes, but i keep em up in the end

even though i say that i greatly enjoy the process (and i do!) and that the end result doesn't matter as much as the journey, the end result Is important to me, and a lot of the time (especially lately) i am not pleased w what i made. and that in turn kinda,, makes me afraid that other people will think im silly for even trying ? or that they'll just dismiss my work bc it's not perfect and they can see the glaring flaws. logically i know that's a bit silly but yaknow.hashtag normal girl moments

Favorite moment in Insomniac Games Spider Man?

ough thats a good question. I'll stick with game one simply because you haven't seen the other 2 games (yet.....)

spoilers for the entirety of game 1 below:

I'd honestly have to say my favorite part of 1 is probably the final battle, and or the leadup to it. the absolute HURT in peters voice as he turns to otto and goes "you Knew?". the realization that otto knew this whole time. that otto turned against him Knowing it was peter he was fighting. the utter betrayal of that.

on the lighter side!!!! i really really like all the miles and peter interactions. like all of them. i love those goobers. they're so silly!!!!! my cringe sons. and also mj. i love love love mj so much. my cool daughter <3<3. but yes yeah i just really really like a lot of the character interactions, honestly. they're just *mwah* chefs kiss.

as for gameplay wise? most satisfying/fun part for me is probably... hm.. just swinging around tbh. either that or stealth missions. i like the stealth missions they're fun to me.

Reggie's spot is probably the balcony that his apartment has. He likes to sit out there and see if any bugs are attracted by his plants

Damien and Des both have the same favorite spot to relax, and that is on top of the other. Could literally be anywhere, doesn't matter at all. They simply must be stacked

Petal's favorite place to relax is at his computer, doxxing people. Not always that last part but he is SO terminally online bro please touch grass

Pierre's favorite spot is a SUPER old rocking chair he found and refurbished, which he likes to knit in. Leaux's favorite spot is on the floor next to said rocking chair, yapping about whatever is on his mind at the time.

Zeph's favorite spot was his families old winery. Its one of the few things he truly misses from his home planet

Brutus's old favorite spot was Zephs office, not that he'd ever admit it.

Pierce accidentally fell sleep on Deem once like a cat and Deem nearly cried and thats been it's favorite spot since. He rarely sleeps on Deem though
