I never notice the warriors carved into the wall underneath Mel’s window; there is just always something new to see in this insanely detailed show.
I also love how the design of the masks could be a reference to Noxus or to the Solari (based on the character design of the champion Pantheon). Which works with what we know of Mel and her background (she is Noxian) and many fans suspect (her father is from Targon or is connected the Solari).
Or it’s both cultures. If her dad is Solari, Mel could be combining two elements from her parents and their heritages or simply using similar imagery they both have in how she presents her home (an extension of herself).
Which makes sense, as Mel has the Medarda family crest in her father’s gold coloring (allegedly) right there above the carved warriors, which matches her gold crest ring.
