24. whats a compliment about your art that has always stuck with you?

ohhhh shit, you know I've really been meaning to start saving these. Though now that I'm thinking about it there is ONE thing someone told me that I keep going back to when I get nervous about specifically my writing

Cause like! I get nervous about writing characters that aren't my own! a LOT! Because if I didn't make them how do I know I'm portraying them correctly? (<-This is why i hardly do fanart tbh) but I was given a comment on one of my fics where the person said they read every single fic that a character had been tagged in but still liked mine best and I CRY ABOUT IT ALL THE TIME???? THAT'S. THAT'S SO MUCH. AND IT'S SO SWEET

I do read everything people send to me and leave in the tags and I love them all SOOO much and the fact that this ^ is the only compliment I can think of off the top of my head (because i think about it so much) probably means i should be saving these asdkhjSDHGLJKHSD
