Hello! I have some riddles that I'll share, I hope they're not too lame :') 1- Levantine dialect : شو قال السكر للشاي؟ أنا ذايب فيك šū ʾāl elsukkar leššāi? Ana dāyeb fīk What did the sugar tell the tea? "I'm dissolved in you" The expression ذايب فيك literally means dissolved, but it's also a romantic way to say that you're head over heals in love with someone. 2- MSA : ماذا قال الدبوس للمغناطيس؟ أراك جذابًا جدَا Māḏa qāla addabbūs lel meġnāṭīs? Arāka ǧaḏḏāban ǧiddan What did the pin tell the magnet? I find you very "attractive", 3- MSA لم طلب الرجل من خطيبه أن تشتري خريطة؟ لأنه تاه في عينيها Why did the man ask his fancée to buy a map? Because he got lost in her eyes. Lima ṭalaba arraǧulu min ẖatībatihi an taštsriya ẖarīṭa? Liʾannahu tāha fī ʿaynayhā If anyone knows any riddles in MSA or dialects, feel free to share them!
