hey so me and @static-warp-bubble​ would love you forever if you wrote a fic for us:

i wonder what would happen if for some reason shran needed to go into decon with archer. would he protest the entire fact of having to strip down to his underwear or do andorians not care about that kind of thing? assuming they did care, would he be doubly hesitant to do so with archer there doing the same? are they already together by this point or not? *starts thinking about ways in which andorian's bodies change when they're feeling lustful/strongly attracted to someone certain feelings* how does archer react to all this? we know he's fine going into decon with the crew but i mean this is shran and it's different or maybe he finds shran's reticence funny/cute

where your name is written in the sand

an archer/shran graphic (fitted to a mobile wallpaper for your convenience if you so wish) for @the-capricious-one for round 15 of @trek-rarepair-swap ; there is actually a fic to go along with it, i was going to post them at the same time but i have had so little time to focus on writing recently and the deadline is drawing near, so i decided to post this now and the fic will come later… hopefully not too much later

anyway here’s the idea behind it:

A typical summer romance nostalgia story, but with a twist: when the crews of Enterprise and Kumari meet by coincidence on a planet whose local name Hoshi has translated literally as “Summer Paradise”, things don’t go quite as Archer and Shran might have anticipated.

(set some time during late series 2, in between “cease fire” and “bounty”)

the song summer paradise by simple plan always made me imagine a trek fic where the planet was called summer paradise rather than their romance taking place during the summer, but I didn’t really know what pairing it would work for because most pairings on the same vessel/station… until I watched enterprise and archer/shran came along. this is probably the worst, most disgustingly soppy idea i’ve ever had, but i don’t think you’ll catch me apologising for it

Ship your OC with a canon character (if applicable): yes! in my fic neutrinos in bloom (four years post-canon in which everyone returns to ds9 for julian and garak’s wedding) i invented an oc, their adopted daughter ulaya who becomes fast friends with molly o'brien, and in the sequel/threequel i planned but may or may not ever get around to writing, when they become teenagers/adults they fall in love

Your most tragic ship: uhhhh i always find ways to give people happy endings (at least in the main universe. aus can end angsty (example: this fic i wrote))
