hi, could I get a reading about which career I should get into? thank youuu

I’ve switched it up here and pulled my “Archetype Cards” by Caroline Myss.

Spirit can be very vocal / choosey with me sometimes - so this deck was picked out especially for you :)

Your Archetype Card is:

“Midas / Miser”

“Light Attributes: Entrepreneurial or creative ability to turn anything to gold. Delight in sharing life’s riches.”

“Shadow Attributes: Hoarding money and emotions. Obsessive fear of losing your wealth.”

Your ideal career is coming through as one that has freedom to be creative and ultimately the ability to be your own boss (no need to answer to someone or just be another “cog in the wheel”). Whichever potential paths you are thinking of that afford you those benefits are ideal.

The reality is that you have so many unique / amazing talents, abilities & skills that you’re kind of a chameleon when it comes to career prospects. On one hand that’s freaking awesome because you can do just about anything you set your mind to. On the other hand it shows me that you will always be questioning whether you’ve chosen the right career, if you should fix / tweak / change things, whether you should go back to school or not, if the job you are in is the right one, etc, etc, etc… See where Spirit is going with this one?

On another note, try to avoid careers that have too much structure, middle management, or require you to answer for your decisions or administratively report on things constantly. You work best when you are just doing that voodoo you do so well. When you get going in your own energy you get SO MANY THINGS DONE. So freedom on the work front is a non-negotiable.

You’re ideally coming up as someone with an Entrepreneurial Spirit. You could so easily be a “self-made” person. Which again, is totally awesome, but can be really tough.

I, for example, have known for most of my adult life that I wanted to be an Entrepreneur. It took me years (5 of those doing a stint in a more Corporate job) for me to realize that my “ideal business” was using my Spiritual gifts / abilities to help others full time.

Entrepreneurship might be tough for you right now because I see you as someone that may be confused about what product / service to sell. Don’t put too much pressure on yourself right now.. Instead start by brainstorming what you feel passionate about and go from there.

Day 1 of March Hare Madness: Who is sitting at your tea party?

Monk/Nun from the Archetypes Cards

Young Echo went out for tea and found themself seated with a monk or three. Said E., “How now, what cloister is this? I’d never come here, now something’s amiss.”

Say the monks three, “We cannot have tea today, we solemnly celebrate Ash Wednesday.” Says Echo, “You see, that’s not the point. I was wondering how I got here in this joint.”

“Point is, we have something wise to say if you weren’t so darn set on having things your way. Cease with your rhymes, pull your head out your ass,” quoth monks as they began to pray, “guide the child to devotion holy and keep them from writing poems so crass.”

I feel like this card is reprimanding me for not going to church on Ash Wednesday #CatholicGuilt

But also this card has come up in the context of devotion to creative work before so it’s appropriate for the first day of a divination challenge!
