Kind of going back to my roots with the shading. For a time I felt like I had no idea what I was doing, no real plan going into my illustrations. And with all those great artists who are winging it as well, but have a lot more knowledge, I thought just throwing in colors would work for me too.

And then I watched janaschi’s lecture at IW_17 and found out she uses a similar process as I did when I drew nothing but horses lmao What can I say, I was INSPIRED :,D
