One of my priests tells us this every time he concelebrates a Mass with the bishop, and always laughs hysterically at the ridiculousness that is the least reverend Salvatore Cordileone.

Woelki will mit Homosexuellen reden.

Der neue Erzbischof, Rainer Maria Woelki, will mit allen gesellschaftlichen Gruppen ins Gespräch kommen – auch mit Lesben und Schwulen. Die Kirche sei keine Moralanstalt,"die mit dem Zeigefinger herumfuchtelt", sagte Woelki bei seinem ersten öffentlichen Auftritt in Berlin.

Rainer Maria Woelki ist neuer Erzbischof in Berlin Zwar fordere der Katechismus vor Gott "geordnete" Verhältnisse in sexuellen Fragen. Menschen sollten aber nicht durch ihre sexuelle Ausrichtung beurteilt werden.

Die Ernennung des Kölners war in Berlin auf gemischte Reaktionen gestoßen. Schwulenverbände und Politiker hatten angebliche Äußerungen Woelkis zur Homosexualität kritisiert. Dagegen sagte der Geistliche, er habe den Satz, wonach Homosexualität gegen die"göttliche Schöpfungsordnung" verstoße, selber"nicht in die Öffentlichkeit getragen".
