I have no idea what career i want and its freaking me out. I just want to be happy and not stuck in some boring 9 to 5 job barely making enough to survive, let alone live.

Having the sudden realisation that i don't think i want to be an Architect....long Days in a shack on the side of the beach, would be a wonderful life!

Career

I really really want to make it in the music industry. Its been my goal since freshman year. But lately I’ve been thinking of something else. After doing all this work from school and learning new things, it’s making myself reconsider. I don’t want all this school work to go to waste. I mean, why would I do the classes I’m doing if I’m want to become a musician. If I really wanted it, I would of stayed in jazz band. But I don’t want all the stuff I’ve done in music to go to waste either. I’ve played many shows, been getting paid, and now recording; but I dont wanna just tell my band Im not sure about getting signed and anymore. I’m not sure what I wanna do. But I know I need to figure out soon. Junior year is gonna finish before I know it and then senior year. I have no idea where this idea came from, but the career as an architect came to me. Like its sort of the more fun side of engineering, to me at least. Just designing the buildings and I could make crazy, abstract stuff haha. But idk. I still have that passion to get signed to Sumerian Records. I guess I’ll just have to see where junior year takes me and see what is best for me.
