Shenzhen Genzon Technology Innovation Center In China
Aedas’ triumphant scheme of Genzon Technology Innovation Center in Shenzhen’s Nanshan District of China encompasses offices that promote a new mode of working, luxury hotel facilities, and a bracing shopping experience. The project will be an important node on “Silicon Valley Avenue” connecting key areas of Shenzhen’s high-tech industries.

Estudio Extramuros
This resort generates hydro-kinetic energy for 1,000 homes
Located in North-West Scotland, the Tidal Pool Resort is a project by Margot Krasojević Architects that blends coastal tourism with renewable energy production. The space serves as a power plant that utilizes multiple forms of renewable energy sources to produce electricity for the Scottish mainland. Additionally, the project supports the local marine ecosystems to maximize sustainability.
Mountain landscapes inform perforated-granite-clad Chengdu Natural History Museum
Faceted, rock-like forms clad with panels of perforated granite define the Chengdu Natural History Museum in China, which was designed by US studio Pelli Clarke & Partners and local studio CSWADI.
Completed in 2022, the 50,000-square-metre museum is part of a developing "entrepreneurial hub" in Chengdu, combining public spaces, shops and a cafe with galleries, a cinema and educational facilities.
ZN Era proposes encircling Burj Khalifa with an elevated "continuous metropolis"
Architecture studio ZN Era has envisioned a skyscraper called Downtown Circle, which would be built around the Burj Khalifa in downtown Dubai.
Set to be 550-metres tall and 3,000 metres in circumference, the skyscraper would be composed of two interconnected main rings that will house residential, public, commercial and cultural spaces.
The Monolith, Ningbo, by Neri&Hu
Shanghai-based studio Neri&Hu designed a cultural destination in Xiangshan, near the eastern coastal city of Ningbo.
It will be made up of five distinct building complexes including villas, thermal baths, seaside leisure facilities, restaurants, and a chapel (pictured).
