4: Tell me about one of your abandoned WIPs. Why did you abandon it?

The main one that comes to mind was my old Rise of the Brave Tangled Dragons crossover 😭 I started it when I was 15 and obsessed with HTTYD in particular, and got really involved in that crossover fandom. I never really had an outline for it, so after chapter 10 or so I fell out of writing it and ended up never picking it back up. probably never will either. it was baaaaaad.

23: What’s one piece of advice you would give to anyone who wants to start writing or posting their writing online?

unless you're writing for a really popular fandom/pairing/etc., you're probably not going to get a lot of views at first. and that's okay! you just have to be patient. if validation is super important to you, try to keep a schedule of posting if you're able to stick to it, and you're more likely to pick up loyal readers. otherwise, focus on writing for yourself.

also, please please PLEASE, if you are a beginning fanfic writer, do NOT go into the comments of other people's fics and try to boost your own writing. that's considered pretty rude and it's a good way to get blocked and tarnish your reputation. personally, I'm ok with people coming to me privately and asking "hey, could you boost my writing?" but not everyone will be ok with that, so don't do that willy nilly either.

Stolen goods must be referring to the Master Sword. You suppose that’s fair, you did kind of steal it in order to get it reforged. That raises the question, though— how does this guy know about that?
