archontem replied to your post: Glad I got everyone to kinkshame @archontem today
maybe your kink is kinkshaming. have you considered that
The list of what isn’t my kink would be much much shorter.
His father’s corpse lays in the depths of the family crypt / his mother stalks the estate as if a vengeful ghost / and he? He strides through wide and open and lavish halls, head held high and his robes pristine and white and gold and dripping with wealth and opulence and status. His hand, long since healed, still stings with the memory of the funeral and he strides past guards and watching eyes and lingering stares and he is the prodigal son : returned at last.
Once upon a time ( a long, long time ago when he had been wide eyed and soft cheeked and craved the attention of his mother and father the way that a dying plant craves water and the future had been bright / not a noose ) he would have been ecstatic to be here in this place, striding along these halls with a purpose. Invited and expected and known to the greatest political power that exists in the Imperium ——
Yet he faces this with a mere fraction of trepidation befitting of the man who had spent years in the south, fighting a heretical war, returning to his homeland once more. All that without mentioning the scar that he left upon his family’s name —— THE ESTEEMED PAVUS FAMILY, BROUGHT DOWN BY ITS HEIR. Caution is warranted and caution is learned, just as his confidence is warranted and his confidence is learned as much as it is warranted and he fears nothing and everything and no one and everyone.
Perhaps it is insolent, not to fear the Archon.
His footsteps slow at grand and glorious doors and he waits, his posture as perfect as it had been when he was six years old and being forced into this very same position : back straight / shoulders wide / hands behind / feet steady / head held high. Every movement DELIBERATE and he is being watched and seen and remembered in the eyes of the many and in the eyes of the none and when the doors open he steps into the maw of the beast, the beginnings of a smile on his face as he crosses the threshold —— and bows. The perfect bow. It wouldn’t do to cause his father to scream from the afterlife when he’s been cold for mere weeks, now would it? Another time, perhaps.
❝ Your Imperial Majesty, ❞ his voice is measured and deferential and he does not look up quite yet. All of those lessons hadn’t been for nothing, after all. In games of politics, you must know when to make friends / when to make enemies. Radonis Lysander Albius Medon will hardly be an ally, it’s true. But making an enemy of him within days of becoming a magister would be suicide.

orana the second one........ pls...
rad likes chocolate and it’s just another thing for orana to judge him for
what type of relationship would you like to write with fel?
munday meme///. @archontem
i’d like to say hateship but we all know i’m a dirty liar. with me, those kinds of rival ships end up getting really dry because more often than not they end up getting oversaturated with the same content. i’d like to spice things up a bit but i’m useless with plotting.
more friendships! even if it’s just casual drinking buddies. i’d love to see fel’s inability to take humans seriously be reflected realistically by the people i write with. how fun would it be for me to have a thread where there’s an underlying tone of “i don’t care”
i am always 100% the biggest fan of all of gaia's OCs (and canons tbh) because gaia's OCs (and canons tbh) are all interesting, well-written, thoughtfully created, unique, and while they might play with tropes they're never cliches
catch me pinning a button on myself which reads: "Gaia's #1 Fan"
what would he argue more frequently or more fiercely about with his siblings and/or his mother, and would he be mostly in the right or mostly in the wrong?
Argue -- hm. First of all, doran isn’t really a confrontational person. He debates and loves debates yes, but he will rarely argue or confront someone. So generally, he will argue on intellectual issues and subjects -- but this is mostly by way of debate or discussion and elaborating ideas. Now, onto the question;
He rarely argues with his mother if at all, unless she’s about to do something really really bad? shjhksahf but generally he agrees with mama about most things. He also doesn’t argue with Elia that much either.
Oby and doran argue like cats and dogs especially when they were younger. They will argue about everything. and i mean everything. They used to absolutely despise being in the same room because uh yeah they are literally polar opposites -- and sometimes they would ‘disagree to disagree’ and then fight over it.
With intellectual debates uh, usually doran is 70/30 because in the end hes always learning about things. With arguments -- he insists that he’s always right. especially over oby.
