I was introduced to your comic just recently and I love it so much! You write everyone really well and your layouts, composition and lighting are amazing! I know sometimes you feel less satisfied with some panels and that's normal for any artist, but every page has been absolutely great from my perspective as a reader. Congrats on keeping this going for so long, and good luck for future updates!! I can't wait!

I am so curious about your "in a different life" AU!

Shadow Milk's design looks like he has different elements from many of his canon forms (Sage and Azure especially!), + a little bit of Truthless in there. What is he like in your AU?

hehe yes hes a lot of his aspects smashed together, design wise

as for how hes like hmm i think... just himself, without the powertripping and extreme denial and lies. Snarky, arrogant, filled w sass but always enjoying a good laugh

a shadow milk without so much weighing him down, stuff like memories and regrets and pain!! who needs all that!! hes a lot more relaxed and down to earth, classic jerk whos distant but cant help but do things well and play a prank or two when hes bored

for the ask game: jimmy mouthwashing

putting things under a read more for game spoilers! some of this turned into a little more gen than just jimmy-focused though oopsies

tw: death, suicide, pretty much the entire scope of whats going on with the game yknow

• First impression: my first impression of jimmy was, unfortunately, through tiktok. tiktok is where character analysis and media literacy goes to die. so, it was all "jimmy horrible bad person we cant even say his name or draw him hes so bad if you like him as a character youre bad everyone else good and wonderful and pure" without ever acknowledging that some of the other characters are morally grey / not perfect (coughcoughcurlycough)

• Impression now: jimmy is a bad person, straight up. for what he did to anya pre-game. for literally everything else he did during the game. his jealousy and need for control poisons him, his mind, his relationships with the others. hes doing it all wrong. hes trying and failing and trying and failing and why wont anyone listen to him-

no one ever really knows what they'd do in a situation like this until theyre put in it. jimmy thought he could handle it, but surprise surprise jimbo, youre cracking under the pressure too.

• Favorite moment: i've already told you and the others but the jimmy and swansea silhouettes moment before jimmy shoots him is [chefs kiss] probably one of if not my fav scene from the game. also the graveyard sequence

• Idea for a story: when he puts curly in the cryopod, instead of killing himself, he stays alive. plays 'captain' a little bit longer. falls further into his head, plays house with his deceased crewmates. how long this lasts idk but like. maybe in the back of his mind its like some sick way for him to punish himself for not being good enough.

• Unpopular opinion: people often try to conflate character's morality with whether or not they're a good character. jimmy is a horrible person, but he is a good character. hes not one dimensional or flat or just "mehehehe im da bad guy i hurt people". he has drive, reasoning, a method to his madness.

• Favorite relationship: hmmmm. probably the only thing i could think of wanting to know more of is his pre-game relationship with curly. they seem to have known each other for a while, even before the tulpar. i wonder how long curly's been letting jimmy get away with his shit, brushing it off as "oh thats just weird ol jimmy" until its finally staring him in the face and he cant ignore it anymore

• Favorite headcanon: i dont really have any headcanons about him tbh! but if i had to come up with one om the spot, hmm.... something less heavy. the man's nails/cuticles look horrible because hes always chewing on them. hes a nail biter badddd bad. the man lives with bandaids in his pockets pre-game from constantly making his damn fingers bleed bc he wont leave them alone!
