, What my boy @RobbieRogers’ husband, the talented @GBerlanti, did with @LoveSimonMovie is truly special.  Got a chance to catch the film adaptation of @BeckyAlbertalli’s book, #SimonVsTheHomoSapiensAgenda, with one of my #BestFriends this past Sunday at @ArcLightCinemas in #Hollywood and it was great seeing #gay 🏳️‍🌈 #representation in a #fun and #HeartWarming #TeenageComedy, done in an accessible way that anyone in the entire family can enjoy.  If you like #JohnHughes films, you’ll love #LoveSimon!  You don’t even have to be part of the #LGBTQ+ community to relate to it.  At the heart of it, this is a film about allowing yourself to be your truest self – regardless of what that may mean to you – and living your best life in spite of what others may think of you because the people who truly #love you will support you unconditionally – even more so when you’re living in your truth.  Glad that, in spite of all the hate going on in the world today, #queer kids have a film they can watch and see themselves reflected in and see that they, too, have the right to love and be loved regardless of gender and/or orientation.  Go watch this movie, whether you do or don’t have kids, but even more so if you do, as it exemplifies #tolerance, kindness, and #compassion, which is something this world so desperately needs today. P.S.
