GUIDELINES UPDATE.  bolded  +  italicized  is what has been updated !

more information can be found under the ACTIVITY section of our guidelines

upon joining, you're free to post an open starter at any time. after that, please reply to at least two open starters before posting your own. 

exceptions can be made during instances where the latest starter in the tag is over one week old.

the admin team has recently noticed an influx of open starters in the tag. and while that necessarily isn't a bad thing, we're also noticing the lack of replies these opens are getting before a new one is posted in the tags. in order to ensure that starters are being replied to so that no one is excluded, we're hoping this addition to our guidelines will help mitigate this.

please keep in mind that diversity is more than fcs of color. our diversity umbrella includes: gender diversity, body diversity, disabled fcs, or fcs over the age of 40. arconia is for residents of all types, and the types of characters in this group should reflect that. regarding diversity:

we will operate on a 1:1 basis regarding white:fcs of color. meaning, if your first muse is white, then your second must be poc. 

every third character must be bipoc ( black or indigenous )

every fourth character must either be: gender diverse, body diverse, disabled, over the age of 40, OR fill a wanted connection.

to provide some additional clarity, if you are currently over three characters and do not have a bipoc muse, your next character must be either black or indigenous.

✧ ⸻ A COUPLE OF NOTES FROM YOUR ADMIN:

The main has been completely updated (as of my knowledge). If anything is not update or wrong, send a carrier pigeon and I'll get back to you in 4-5 business days.

As of this post, I am officially on vacation and will not be able to update the main since I will not be bringing my laptop with me. My grandparents (who I am staying with) do not have wifi so there's no sense of me brining it. That being said, arconiafm will be going on a short hiatus until Friday, December 26th when I get back home. Which just basically means the main will not be posting much (if at all, I will try to do what I can via mobile) but this group is NOT going anywhere any time soon.

This week's interest checks will be waived with the holidays, I'd much rather y'all spend time with your families or whatever else you do for the holidays.

I will still be around on discord to bother you all/plot so be warned I will be answering DMs I haven't gotten around because I will most likely need a break from my family at some point.

✧ ⸻ ADMIN ANNOUNCEMENT!  please be sure to read the following:

hello arconians ! this is your admin team coming in with an important announcement regarding activity. we know this time of year can get especially busy, so a slowdown in activity is something we anticipated. this group is meant to be relaxed and we encourage everyone to write at a pace that works for them.

that being said, we did notice a more significant drop in activity alongside an increased interaction with our interest check posts. it's raised some concerns with us about the lax activity being taken advantage of. no one's in trouble, we promise !

however, this is a friendly heads up that if things continue at this level, we may need to start implementing activity checks in order to curb cases of hoarding and keep things fair for everyone. it's definitely not something we're eager to do and would really like to avoid given the low-pressure environment we've cultivated for this group. but at the same time, we also want to make sure this group stays active.

we truly do appreciate everyone who's been here and contributing, and we're excited to keep things going together here at arconia !

happy sunday arconians ! we're coming at you with some long awaited updates:

the arconia has expanded ! if you take a look at our listings page, we've added a few more floors. floors 9–12 house your standard apartments and floors 14–15 now house your penthouse apartments. 

locations & amenities page are complete ! we know this one's been a long time coming as the page has been live for a while now. but this is the official announcement to say that it is finally complete with locations, graphics, etc. all filled out so come check it out ! arconia's amenities are listed in the first half and locations in the second half. in addition, users can filter locations based on business type, location, and hiring status.

if there are any locations that your muse works at or owns and you would like added to this page, please be sure to fill out this form and submit it to the main.

Good afternoon and Happy Sunday from your local admin! I come bringing very exciting news (which you may have gotten a sneak peak of in the ooc discord, but I am very very pleased and excited to announce that the Arconia admin team has expanded!!!! A huge thank you to Bee (@luminarafms) and Hecate (@bellat0rs) for stepping up and helping me so you'll see them around the main as well as myself.
