My princess: Scar and Ardai
Scar looked out over the Outlands. He got up earlier than the rest of his pride in hope of catching some breakfast. It wasn't for himself, he always tried to catch breakfast for his daughter, Ardai. He wanted to keep her strong because it was his hope that she would grow strong and become queen. He moved down to a canyon that was often littered with mice in the morning. He caught a few and piled them up. When he finished he looked down at his work. He sighed. It looked pathetic. A lion should not have to live off such meager rations, but it was the best he could do. He cursed the forces that had led him to this fate. He should be able to feed his cubs fat Zebras not skinny mice. He scooped up the mice and made his way back to his family. When he arrived, he was greeted by his mate Zira. He nuzzled her. His daughter came bounding up soon after. He dropped the mice at her feet. "Good morning, Princess! I brought your breakfast." He said as he nuzzled her.
