i added a song shrine into my forever world :)

back when it was releasing, songs of war was a big part of helping me get back into playing minecraft, and i wanted to immortalise that into a world that i love and have worked many hours on <3 the shrine is on top of one of the naturally generated floating islands that i have a lovely view of from my base, and i absolutely adore the overgrown feel to it. i initially had a beacon placed under the centre of the shrine, but i removed it for lack of range. when i get a second beacon though, i’ll definitely put one under the shrine just for visual purposes :)

Go check it out if it seems mildly interesting to you, the first season is a fun watch and finally it’s being revived for a spinoff and perhaps the second season :3 the series means so much to me, it’s part of the reason I’m going into film as a career as it introduced me to the idea of cgi animation and all that, it was a big first stepping stone.

Ardoni warriors on the older side commonly have hearing damage from the shockwaves/pressure/sounds that Songs create. Thalleous learned to read lips so that he would still be able to communicate throughout and after the raids, but if an ally is behind him or facing away, he struggles to hear them.

Ardoni have a sign language, and there are regional + clan differences. The Voltaris' is the most divergent. Because of how loud the raids are and how dangerous it can be to make noise, the groups in the Barrier Mountains communicate almost entirely in sign language.

Did both Voltaris and Nestoris Ingressus bc why not and also Nestoria Ingressus is stupidly underrepresented so someone has to fill that void.

Anyway yeah maybe the best thing I've ever drawn like ever

I learned ANATOMY for this man I learned RENDERING for this man (he's my favorite character can you tell)

This is pre-deathsinger Ingressus so there's still some whimsy in him yet (I can fix that 🔪)
