⋆ ˚｡⋆୨୧˚ behold! my glowberry 'vineyard!' was watching barce's hardcore series and got so incredibly inspired by their attention to detail that i wanted to build something in my own world that i could experiment with.

ended up going with a vineyard i had built a while ago in a creative world. this was also my first ever time using podzol and coarse dirt in a build, so that was a lot of fun to experiment with, too. thinking of including those blocks in more of my future projects :)

also loving the cypress trees in the background. they're definitely not what i had imagined, but i don't hate looking at it either. makes the whole area more dense and more lush.

i added a song shrine into my forever world :)

back when it was releasing, songs of war was a big part of helping me get back into playing minecraft, and i wanted to immortalise that into a world that i love and have worked many hours on <3 the shrine is on top of one of the naturally generated floating islands that i have a lovely view of from my base, and i absolutely adore the overgrown feel to it. i initially had a beacon placed under the centre of the shrine, but i removed it for lack of range. when i get a second beacon though, i’ll definitely put one under the shrine just for visual purposes :)

I, as a life long Minecraft player, possess a fear response I like to call "The Philza Reflex" where no matter the circumstances or my level of preparedness I'll always react to a baby zombie with a completely sincere "Oh no boys this is the end for me!"

Netherite armor? A shield? Even a particularly well place few stone sword blows? None make a difference to my level of fear. A baby zombie is a baby zombie, and a baby zombie means certain death served on a silver platter.

I re-created the yellow doors from that Minecraft arg :D

I tried my best to be as accurate as possible. I watched the video frame by frame to make sure i had the blocks in the right place 😭

The top was the hardest part. I can't tell what blocks were in the back, but i believe I have the foreground figured out. I added some leftover blocks in the back for texture so the sky wasn't peeking through too bad.

There was also a mistake in the original, I kept it in my build because I couldn't decide which pattern i liked more. It's in the sides, the lighter row level with the... Statue shelf? The alternating stairs and cobblestone.

I still can't tell what the statue is supposed to be. Maybe an angel?

And me out of D3rlord3 cosplay. Yes this is survival, it took me a week. Most of the tuff blocks are from a trial chamber i gutted. Fun fact, there's a cherry blossom forrest on top of the mountain i built it on!

And I'm building a map room inside. Maybe more... I need to invest in a beacon 😭
