Good evening people who followed me for tf2 and horror podcast stuff… have some fanart for my niche six year old high fantasy Minecraft animation series obsession

Go check it out if it seems mildly interesting to you, the first season is a fun watch and finally it’s being revived for a spinoff and perhaps the second season :3 the series means so much to me, it’s part of the reason I’m going into film as a career as it introduced me to the idea of cgi animation and all that, it was a big first stepping stone.

To the two of you that are here from my two songs of war posts, eat up, I am rethinking my ardoni design a bit so I doodled Tygren poorly to share my vision.

just found out that Tygren's VA (Lucas Webley) will be voicing Morthalis in the Great War and i think that's awesome

i saw his name on there and literally went "Hold on- WELL HI, LUCAS?"

Arlo Voltaris

Arlo Voltaris! My boy, my sleep deprived, done with the world, boy! He is a Voltaris, but instead of being a warrior, he is a healer–not to say he can’t fight! He can and quite well in fact! But he mainly specializes in keeping his idiot clanmates alive. Which is no small task, when your clanmates are determined to throw themselves in danger constantly in the name of revenge. To which he usually responds with a smack over their heads. Several times. Arlo is three horn pixels old, he is a middle-aged man leaning into four pixels old. He does not have any interest in the revenge quest Tygren seems to be on. He truly wants nothing to do with violence and war, he just wants to live. That is why he and a group of Voltaris just stay hidden in the snowy mountains, it is rough and definitely difficult to live in, but he’d rather do this than follow Tygren. I think I am missing something here… Oh yeah, he and Tygren are brothers! And Arlo and Zinadia are married! Yep there are those two things! I think that is about it for him!

FOR ALL U SONGS OF WAR FANS!!!

THIS SONG is PERFECT for the story of the Voltaris clan, starting from pre Great War! Every time I listen to it I can only think of the Voltaris!

It’s worth listening to, and worth really actually listening to the lyrics in context of the voltaris.

My favorite lyrics from this to apply to the Voltaris are “Inside their little world they tried to be understood, but all that came of it was a mess” -(ref to their fascination with songs and making of prime songs resulting to tensions leading to exile) and “these are people too fearless to die out, though they’ll never escape from the rise now.” - (ref to their determination in the Great War/ second war, and how it only ended in their annihilation)
