Guys everything’s fine. No more tears ok? The four of them are all going to Wyoming together. Ok, so maybe Henry and Sam just went ahead there that’s why we won’t be seeing them for the rest of the season.
But I’m so glad with what milestones they achieved today! Surviving a hoard of zombie, militant maniacs, and making friends like— Joel found an Actual Adult Friend with Henry now! Sam and Ellie bonding over their fave comic books. It’s fine. Everything’s ok. 🙂
imagines Izaya falling for you because you share the same twisted love for humanity and life, and love to play mind games with those you see as weaker than you
only to find out you gave your heart to Shizuo. To have his heart ripped out of him when he sees you kissing the overly strong man, as if those lips weren’t meant for him and him alone. It hurts, it does, but pain is something he oh so loves about life.
But he can’t let the love of his life be taken away by his enemy. He’s wanted to kill him for a while anyway, but now he can kill two birds with one stone, taking you in his arms and removing the bug that is Shizuo Heiwajima
I have finished this game twice now... I got Connor killed the first time and I could not have that. So I went back and righted my wrongs... I am so sorry Connor, I can't believe I was so stupid. But I've learned and fixed my mistakes and now you are FREE!
Birdsong filled the cool early morning air as Antiopi stalked across the training grounds, thoughts muddied and whirling in her aching head. Piper had been sent on an assignment, so she was to train alone today. Ugh.
She plucked her spear off the rack with confidence, turning towards the sad looking training dummies with hay was falling out from their badly beaten sack bodies, heads drooping as if they’d already accepted their lot in life. She shook the childish fantasy from her mind, feet shifting into combat stance with ease, scarred fingers tightening around the well-loved handle as she lunged towards the dummies. Her blade sunk through the sack, piercing the wood holding it up with a solid thunk.
She grinned, her muscles already starting to warm up as she practiced the stances again and again. Her shirt has come off once the suns rays started to touch her, too hot to keep anything but her undershirt on as sweat started to soak through. Focusing on something always made her feel better, unless that something was paperwork, in which case she felt she would die from boredom. With a lazy roll of her shoulders, Antiopi prepared to start the exercise again, but quickly spun as she heard soft footsteps from behind.
“Who-? Shit-ow!” She cursed, hand clutching her forehead where she’d stupidly slammed her staff handle against. Looking towards whoever had seen the embarrassing display, a blush spread as she recognized General Maia Volant standing a few feet away. She’d arrived a few days ago, new to Lunaris just as Antiopi was.
“A-are you ok?” The woman asked, stepping closer, hands spread as she tried to keep a small smile from forming as the sight of the pouting 6’7 hunter. She was dwarfed, not just by size but by bulk as Antiopi stood from her hunched over position, looking thoroughly embarrassed.
“Yes, you just…surprised me. That’s all.” She chuckled, sharp canines peaking through as she sent a disarming smirk towards Maia. “Were you hoping to use the training grounds, I was just finishing.” She lied, leaning her weight on her staff as she made no move to leave. Instead, she let her eyes rake over the smaller hunter, taking in the soft coils of hair, wide eyes and plump lips. “Beautiful.” She thought to herself, ignoring the twinge of guilt at the unprofessional thought that came unbidden. She tore her eyes away, not wanting to make the woman uncomfortable.
Maia laughed softly, a light blush spreading across fair cheeks at the unabashed stare Antiopi sent towards her. “I’m sorry, I’ve been told I have a habit of sneaking up on people.” Her hand kneaded the back of neck, willing the heat on her face to die down. “I just thought I’d introduce myself, seeing as we’ll be working together.”
She extended her hand with a smile, delighted at the firm grasp Antiopi took her hand in as they shook, slow to detach as they met eyes for the first time. “I think I’ll like Lunaris.” Maia thought, as the sun fully broke from the nights hold on it, bathing them in golden light.
