As an autistic, awkward Dutch female, it makes me so sad that literally every group that gets hate has always been nothing but kind and helpful to me through my life
I am talking from a single mom with a toddler having a friendly conversation at the bus stop, Muslim ladies in hijab bringing me sweets and drinks after I fainted, plus sized girls always being the first to make friends at a new place, goths and emos always welcoming me in their friend group, once when I was crying on the train a muslim refugee gentleman literally asking if I needed money and a black refugee lady asking if I needed help, a Hungarian immigrant lady asking if I was ok when I was stressed about my mom being in the hospital, a feminine gay man working at H&M always greeting me being friendly
Like.............. these are the people that know what it is like to be judged and rejected, they will help you. Like these are the people that get up for my elderly mom on the bus, without fail, it´s usually POC or a ´plain´ looking Dutch girl
Meanwhile the pretty blonde girls or handsome well dressed men just laugh or ignore you lmao
Everyone that is different in any way knows that it´s true
So here is to everyone that society considers bad, you are actually the best people inside your hearts. Know that
