So there's a bus driver I usually see 2-3 times per week, and every time I get on the bus he asks me how I'm doing ("oh, pretty good, thanks"). And then I ask how he's doing in return, and I always get the same sort of response: "Just one more hour" or "Only two more hours to go". And it always breaks my heart a little bit that this is how he measures his days: in terms of how many hours he has left until he finishes work. And maybe he has a fantastic life outside of work. Maybe he's just really excited to get home to his loving partner/kids/pets/Netflix series. But I'm always tempted to ask what he's still doing here, working a job that he can't wait to leave at the end of the day. And secretly I worry that this will be me someday, stuck doing something I frankly could care about less. And it terrifies me.

I don't know why this has become such big a deal.. If you like 5SOS, you should be hella happy that you're going to see 2 bands that you like for the price of only one concert If you don't, just sit and wait till it's over.. It's not like everybody always likes the opening band of a show.....

my opinion on that is very indifferent b/c it's a big yes, i would like them to. but at the same time, it's a big no i actually don't want them to
because personally i value their friendship/relationship/the tessa-scott-thing-they-have-that-no-one-can-explain-with-one-word thing, y'know
