So whenever I would go to the house of this one friend of mine, her cat would eventually come out and start meowing and greeting everyone. The other day I was at her house and I heard her cat, and I was like "Ooh, I hear Jenny!" And my friend just looked at me and she was like "No, you didn't hear Jenny. You definitely didn't hear Jenny." I was confused until she clarified that she had Jenny put down a couple days before and idk we probably should've been sad but we were just both laughing at the fact that I was excited about hearing her ghost cat and that I was definitely about to meow back.
