Mermay Day 25 - Tsunami (Argaï - the Prophecy)

I don't have that many villains among my faves, but oooh do I like Oriale from the early 2000s cartoon Argaï the Prophecy. Moreover I hated the fact that all female characters were shown more human-like faces than their male counterparts. It's a sort of hidden code I often saw in anthropomorphic cartoons and comics, when a female character is depicted as young and pretty.

So seeing Oriale with features close to the animal she represents made me so glad she became an instant fav.

I originally thought his fiancee Angel was a human... but she’s a stylised cat. I have also attempted drawing her as another anthropomorphic animal, but a stylised caracal (due to her ears in the show). 

I still like the idea of her as a human.
