God I wish Selen and Enzo rebelling against Ian and Argo in Fury hadn’t just been a trick. It would’ve been so much more interesting if they were genuinely rebelling when they said “You failed us big brother!” and “We’re done paving the way for you egomaniacs! We want to battle for ourselves!” Family drama is interesting, more interesting than a simple, boring trick. It was interesting to see Argo and Ian antagonizing their younger siblings and calling them traitors for breaking away from the family mold. Not to mention them rebelling had a believable set up with Ian and more so Argo failing them and their worldview crumbling around them in Masters. It’s so believable that it’s easy to think that Enzo and Selen could’ve been genuinely saying some of the stuff they say in this episode.
