Probably the sweetest animated short I’ve seen in a very long time, I’m crying. Well done!!

At first, Haru would be surprised, and confused. There was that naive innocent belief that you're nearly invincible when you're young- that nothing bad could ever happen to you. There is so much to live for... so how is it that life can be taken away from someone so young?

Of course, then the cogs in the memory wheel start to churn. That's right, there are mafia affiliations... and there is danger lurking around the corners for the next generation Vongola boss and his guardians. She's seen it happen before personally, the dangers that they've faced.

"This isn't real, right?" She barely noticed that tears were already dripping down her cheeks if not for how warm her cheeks felt. "This is just like all those other times when something happens and you fear the worst, but it all works out in the end." How many times has she seen these guys on hospital beds after sustaining injuries? This had to be yet another of those situations.

"There's no way he's actually dead...right?" The question was just barely above a whisper, as if she didn't get an answer to the question, it would cement that he was in truth, fine. "It wasn't fair for him to die when he was still trying to get used to being with everyone in Japan again. She was trying to get to know him all over again, but this happens? What did he do wrong in life that life had to hit him with this? He didn't deserve it. "Please tell me this is some sick joke... please."

beep beep how’s my portrayal ? Absolutely loving your portrayal of all muses from seeing Uri, to Yamamoto, to Bel, and Kuro as well as the exposition on your portrayal of Yamamoto by introducing the Delmarre family you bring your muses to life in their own unique ways and reveal things on them we didn't get in canon, it's always exciting to see a new post from you and I'm really glad we've started to work together, can't wait to see where the interactions go.

Thank you! I'm really glad that you like my portrayals of them. I won't lie that since none of my characters of strictly canon I'm always worried that people won't want to interact with them.

Neo doesn’t do anon, but in general, I enjoy the interesting spin that you’ve put on some of your muses such as Lavina being alive or Yamamoto being different from canon due to different life choices. It gives the feel of what Bluebell said in the series where the real funeral wreaths were impressive and commanding people in other worlds, but in this one- they were losers and weak. It’s like you write a version of them from another universe where one thing changed and it snowballed into bigger changes.

As for details, I think for Lavina the favorite part would be the fact that she had to keep her being alive a secret for the safety of everyone including herself, so Gokudera couldn’t know about her being alive and so that allows for canon to proceed as normal, but introduces a lot more angst material to work with and I do love to see angst.

Favorite detail of Natsu… hm… I think it’s fascinating that she’s female. It’s different for sure, and it’s interesting to watch the way she interacts with others and how she does her best to be a respectable and honorable boss type figure. She’s just very cute.

For Yamamoto, I think my favorite detail would just be the fact that his personality is different due to the events that occurred in the US, and how his relationships with the others are somewhat strained due to his sudden departure to the US. It’s realistic for there to be strained relations and despite how positive he seems in canon, he’s definitely got other sides to him. So, it’s really like you get to see more of the other side of the coin with this portrayal- which is fun!

{{ Honestly I never even thought about them being from different universes, like what Bluebell said, but now that you bring it up it's a good way to explain why they're the way that they are.

I'm also really glad that you like them. If I'm being honest I'm always worried that people don't actually like that they're cannon divergent. So I have a hard time reaching out to new people, and it's a reason I added some normal cannon characters to my roster.
