Ari is a scared little girl and she always will be. She is still the 6 year old girl wearing her brothers clothes and being the dad when she played house.

Andy is a much stronger person. Andy is motivated and not afraid anymore. 

But I'm still caught very much in the middle. And it is very hard to live that way. Being a grey area isn't as easy as it seems.

She shouldn't have came. But there she was, dressed in a pale blue dress at his wedding. A fake smile was seen on her face as she talked to Wave, who had convinced her to come. They were waiting for the ceremony to start, though Aria wasn't sure if she wanted it to. It's not that she hasn't moved on, she has. She's twenty-eight, she's way past what happened ten years ago. She knows there must be a reason why he left her back then, and that's the exact same reason why she should never even think about wanting him back. But she couldn't help but feel a little hurt as his bride walked down the aisle with her father. Andy sure looked happy waiting for his bride, a wide smile was on his face, and she tried as hard as she could to feel happy for him. It happened so fast, they said their vows, and they kissed, but that's when his eyes locked with hers. She just forced a smile as she clapped her hands along with the other guests, congratulating the happy couple. -o0o- "I didn't know you'd be here." Aria turned around when she heard that voice. She would've dropped her glass of wine if he didn't keep it from falling by holding her hand. She tried to keep her composure as she smiled. "Wave dragged me along. Congratulations, though, she's beautiful," she told him, trying to sound sincere. "I'm so sorry for making it awkward, if you want me to leave, I can go," she said again when she didn't get a reply. "No, it's okay. I may've missed you," said Andy, which made Aria raise her eyebrows. "Have you talked to Steph? She's one of the bridesmaids, I just talked to her, she must be around here somewhere." "I can find her later." "We have a lot to catch up on, don't we?" he retorted. "We should have coffee together sometime, a decade is a pretty long time," he casually said as he stuck his hands in his pockets. "Andy! Congratulations, man!" Some guy came up to them, and Aria knew that's here end of that conversation. "I'll go find Steph," she said before walking away. "I'll call you, nice talking to you, Ar." She heard and she looked over her shoulder and gave him a small smile before continuing on her way.

Good job, Rivers, Aria told herself after the encounter. She was actually kind of proud that she didn't break down the second she saw him, because high school Aria would've done that and ruin everything.

Hating him is not the easiest thing in the world. Of course it's not, it's almost impossible. He has everything every girl would want and her heart, which he hasn't returned.

And here she believed UberFacts who said a typical person would take 17 months and 26 days to get over an ex. But Aria's not your typical person now, is she? Though compared to other students back in Thompson, she kind of was, because Thompson's definition of normal is different.

"Ar," Steph walked up to her. "You're going to the party tonight, right? Everyone will be there," said the blonde.

Everyone, thought Aria. And by 'everyone' of course she meant the Thompson alumni who's here. Somehow she wasn't surprised that there are many at the festival, Thompson is a talent school after all, and it's packed with musicians.

And of course there's Andy.

God, does he have to ruin everything?

She forced a smile. "Sure, but keep me away from alcohol okay?"

"I waited for you," the girl said. Not a girl anymore now. She's 25, she's all grown up, she's a successful musician now and that's the reason why she's here right now. iTunes festival. This means everything to her.

Yet it's almost like he wants to ruin it on purpose. Because he just somehow shows up to give support to Wave, and look where they are now. Didn't he check the schedule? And how come he came to support Wave, but not her?

"I don't know what happened," he said.

"I don't either," she shook her head before walking past him.
