a bittersweet morning
I woke up at 8:30 today to go on a run with my best friend, Ariel, and ran all the way down to Lex’s house where we played badminton in the park and messed around a bit. Then Lex decided that we go for a hike in the hills close to his house. Shortly, we sort of regret that decision because there were too many damn hills but we managed, except Lex who is this horribly inactive couch potato who kept complaining about his balls and his thighs. Although it was a bit annoying hearing him complain,we all found it hilarious. Overall it was a well-spent morning with my two best friends (Lex and I are together but we both refuse to place a name or label on us so instead he refers to us “Phamderanga” which is the combination of our last names. Sounds a bit lame and weird but I like weird so I shall leave it be.) I didn’t want all of us to stop hanging out but I had to go to the orthodontist, Ariel had to go see “Lincoln” for extra credit in APUSH, and Lex had to go buy a 10 lb ham for Thanksgiving. We all hugged each other before we walked our separate ways but I couldn’t just hug Lex. I’m not a big fan of PDA especially when it involves us since we are both newbies to this but I ran back to him then he saw me and started running away from me screaming,”ZOMBIE. ZOMBIE.” I screamed back, “STOP SCREAMING AND RUNNING AND GET YO LANKY SELF BACK HERE.” We both knew he couldn’t run for long so he finally stopped and I gave him a kiss on the cheek and then ran back to Ariel who was waiting for me. Then Lex called me to look behind at him and I saw he made a heart with his hands and I did the same back. That boy can make me hate him so much but the more I know that I hate him the more I realize how much I like him which is odd but it makes odd sense. The most disappointing part though was I lost my $10 I had strapped in the laces of my shoe but after my orthodontist appointment I got boba so that made me happy.
