i.  sigurd’s parents were murder by the vampire, jiemma orland. he was only a child when it happened. his godfather & vampire hunter, weiss, took him in. he eventually taught him all he knew about killing such ‘monstrosities’.

ii.  ‘sting’ is an alias he took after being turned at age 25. he turns sometime during the 1920’s. it doesn’t go very smoothly. he almost didn’t let himself, but he was convinced otherwise. weiss still loves him enough to let him go just once. thus, the two inevitably part ways

iii. vampirism was initially difficult for him. he’s someone who feels so deeply, his feelings of wrath heightening the most. sometimes he would kill out of blind rage. sting thought if he turned off his humanity, it could allow him to think logically & not lash out. he was wrong. but eventually, he does get it under control. ( think caroline without her humanity )

iv. he doesn't turn his humanity on for many years. only after him accidentally killing weiss does he snap out of it.

v.  sting never preys on women. he mostly likes to target men. bad men.

vi. the ancient witch, seilah, created his daylight ring.

vii. guess what ? sting actually has A++ alcohol tolerance in this verse. obviously.

“really ----?” a slight scoff escapes her lips, arms crossed. she doesn’t even bother to roll her eyes. but she keeps her dark gaze steady on his. a bit surprised by his line, it would have worked if they had classes together, she’d even find it a little impressive even though it was cheesy. but he had TRIED, and she’d give him a little something for the effort. “hm, i won’t deny the chemistry part. but i think you could have tried a little HARDER, we don’t even have any classes together, aleks.” she adds with a light chuckle. but she’s still grinning nonetheless. “but i suppose i’ll give you points for the effort.” now she’s teasing, only a bit.
