Aries-Taurus cusp (shares traits of both these signs)
- He has the passion of an Aries, hardworking like a Taurus, and with the two signs together, he strives to impress all and is determined to stand out.
- Short-tempered like an Aries and has anger issues. Aries people are more emotional than you think, since they’re the youngest of signs.
- Taurus people are foodies: This would explain his ability to cook, and why he’s the most calm when being fed.
- Both Aries and Taurus don’t handle failure/losing well, so it explains Bakugo’s intense need to beat everyone and be number 1
- Stubborn as hell like a Taurus, and sticks to his principles/morals/what he thinks is the right thing to do (which can get him into trouble)
This is why his character growth is extremely admirable, because change is always tough on him, but he’s trying.
- Goal oriented: Has his mind set on being a hero no matter what/despite setbacks
- Most water signs are extremely emotional, but Cancers cry the most, which would explain his incredible water works
- Cancers may seem nice, but their dark side is that they can be extremely manipulative to get what they want. Izuku observes others so he can use the knowledge for future purposes mainly for his own advantage. If his reason for doing so isn’t so noble, he’ll be the best at manipulation. (He would make a great villain)
- Cancer people are generally nice and easy-going. That is, if you don’t piss them off or give them a reason to hate you. This explains why he gets along well with most people in general.
Fun fact: Most serial killers have the sun sign Cancer. They’re unpredictable, prone to mood swings and have the best cover story because of their bright and cheery personality. Their dark side isn’t something to be taken lightly.
- In the beginning, Bakugo ruins their friendship because of a misunderstanding. Both Aries and Taurus are some of the most prideful signs, so when Bakugo mistakes Izuku’s kindness as something more twisted, their friendship goes to shit.
- Note that Cancers are very sentimental and sometimes they can yearn for the past, so Izuku may have been holding on to hope that he can reconcile with Bakugo some day, and they can be friends again. (or form some sort of relationship)
- Aries and Taurus people tend to have many friends, because they attract people naturally. This explains why with Bakugo’s personality at the start, he still has “friends”.
- Cancers are more of loners, and since they can be shy, they either have a small friend group or close to no friends at all.

In the end when both became proper rivals, Bakugo generally just wants to beat Izuku’s ass but on Izuku’s part, he probably just sees it as an invitation/chance to reconcile and have some form of relationship with Bakugo again. Of course, he’s also chasing his own goal to be worthy of OFA, but it isn’t so much on beating Bakugo.
- Aries and Taurus people have soft, sentimental sides to them, but with Bakugo’s hugeass pride it’ll probably take some time for him to open up to Izuku and let their friendship develop further.
There is potential relationship growth, but honestly, the ball is in Bakugo’s court in this one.
