A. Research

What specialist areas of animation or media practice interest you most?

I'm really interested in 2d Animation, along with Film. 

What jobs are associated with these areas of practice; take into account that job titles vary depending on animation technique?

I'm quite interested in Directing, storyboarding and conpect artist. As I experianced last year in a few films which I made, the first being a 2D film, which I really enjoyed designing the characters and story boaring the whole story. Secondly, being a live action pixaltion film which I had to work in a team, working with actors and props, as well as filming in a public area at night, having to deal with the public and trying to get the scenes right. I liked working out when things didn't work and trying other ways filming. along with telling the actors/camera people what to do and how to do it.

What are your Creative Interests and Inspirations?

My creative interests are tv shows, book, cartoons, comics and films (live action/animation). My inspirations are varied as I take a lot from my friends, along with what I see from other artists, music and perhaps tv shows. As I like drawing from my imagtion, along with life. I also enjoy painting portraits. I really take an interest in past art work in artbooks from various films or cartoons. Looking at the costumes they placed the characters in, along with looking at other information they have in the sketches they drew.

  I take a lot of inspiration from my artists which are into similar things which I am. Looking at how they preived the interest, along with there style of drawing, also on how they colour and line art.

  I am very interested in directing, or perhaps storyboard artist or concept artist, anything which I can create something. Such as, I really took an interest in editing, from my last film which I did for last project I did for uni. So I really explored in film, however I didn’t want to loose my drawing aspect, so people suggest that I combine them. Which is why I have looked into storyboarding also.
