I have always enjoyed the work of tim burton, as I have grew up with him, along with sharing interests in animation and film, as well as designing characters.
How i heard of these is when I was when I discovered Of Monsters and Men, where they animated some of their music videos. All of the following a story of characters, and following their journey. What i love most about the is how they design their scenery.
From first seening Coraline and Paranorman, to believe there work was Stop-Motion, was fantastic, as when you watch it, you forget that it's animation. So finding out about the behind the scenes, I found a keen interest in Stopmotion.
This is the company which basically got me into drawing, from watching their dubbed Anime. But they are also the company which made me choose animation to study.

from the recent film made my marval, The Guardians of the Galaxy. This made me more interested in film, along with character design, as it is based on the oringal comic book. It links with my interest of the space and alien characters, other than ordianry humans.

as there main work is 2d, and I mainly work in 2d for drawing, all there work is brightly coloured and catched my attention instantly. it made me more interested in storyboarding and character design, as they show there draft animation, and how they make everything before they preview the final film.
from their recent film How to train your dragon 2, this also made me more interested in character design and storyboaridng, as I have been looking at there artbook and it shows and explains how they made the film along with there previous designs on there main characters.
