I like the answer! Makes sense to me. I get the feeling the jp fandom likes Nobunaga a lot, too. Or is it that they link the historical importance these figures/personalities have, with their fangirling?! Like, everyone knows Yasu is the final winner ^^ haha
Oh you’re totally right, he is very popular with that fanbase!! I have seen some epic level Nobunaga shrines from Japanese players. That’s why it’s kind of a hard question to answer! Without setting parameters it’s difficult to say...but like I said, I think overall the answers I gave are very accurate.
It could definitely be that they link the historical importance to the fangirling lol. I think they also have personality traits that are very familiar and popular in media on top of it. The cocky ‘Oresama’ and the bristly ‘tsundere’ and those seem to not go over quite as easy with English fanbase ?
