“Guess what-!!” Emu excitedly brought her and Nene's hands up, their fingers wrapped in a silver ring.. on their wedding finger.

Akito chokes on his hot chocolate mid-sip, both he and Toya looking up at the troupe sat across from them in bewilderment. An squels in her shock, catching some unwanted attention, and Kohane gasps as she covers her mouth.

Tsukasa laughs that hearty laugh of his, holding out his and Rui's hand. “It's official!!!”

“And we'd like to invite all of you!” Rui added, followed by a hum and a nod from Nene.

The street musicians stare at them in shock, none of them saying a word as they blink at the four matching silver bands.

Then Kohane turned to An, and she turned to Kohane back. Akito and Toya share glances at the corner of their eyes.

Nene raises an eyebrow, followed by a chuckle. “That surprising, huh?”

“No- well- yeah, yes, that surprising.” Kohane stuttered. “But.. it's just funny,”

Tsukasa tilts his head. “Hm? Why would that be?”

Toya puts his palm over his hand, as if to conceal a laugh. Tsukasa snickers at the sight. “What?!” Tsukasa asks, “What's funny? I didn't think the four of us getting wed was that surprising?!?!?”

“No, it's just-” Akito snickers next, leaning back in his seat as he stares ar the floor, trying not to laugh.

“Nee-san,” Toya calls, and when Tsukasa turns his head to look at Toya, he's met with a ring around Toya's finger.. similar to his own.

Tsukasa blinks once. Then twice. The rest of Wonderlands x Showtime do the same. The Nene gasps similar to how Kohane did previously.

“Are you serious?” Rui turns to An, and Kohane, and Akito.

Kohane laughs as she nods, An taking her wrist and showing off the rings on their own fingers.

Emu giggles, bouncing in her seat a bit. “No way!!” She turned to Akito, “Akito-kun!”

Akito huffed a laugh, before lifting his hand next to his face.

Then the inevitable happened; Tsukasa stood up with a shout, causing basically everybody in the room to flinch.

Akito sighs, bringing his hand up to cover the side of his face. “Fuck, senpai...”

Toya nervously laughed in response.

“No way!!” Tsukasa, ever dramatic, added, reaching over the table to take Kohane's hands in his with tears in his eyes. “You guys....!!!”

Nene shook her head with a sigh, but the smile on her face was as wide as ever. “Congratulations, guys-!” She said.

An laughed, wrapping her arms around Akito's neck. “Congratulations to you guys too!!”

Saw a comment on this really cool tiktok. But basically it's a "what-if"; Odysseus loses to Poseidon, and they find Ody's body washed up at shore.

“ Storms aren't strangers to Ithaca. Although.. storms such as this.. it lasted only a day, maybe less, but it was still unnatural to the people even so.

The queen had spectated the horizon. It seemed awful, even from afar. Dark and brewing clouds poured unforgiving veils of rain. She dreaded the moment it would hit the shores of Ithaca. Fortunately, Poseidon was merciful on their side, and the storm hadn't reached the island.

She saw that as a sign; that day the fishermen paused their sailing activities due to how harsh the waves were, and while sailing came across her mind, she couldn't help but tie it back to her long lost husband. How is he to get home, given the merciless weather nearby his kingdom?

In fact, he was right here at Ithaca. And she found out as one of her ladies in waiting came up to her, ‘Lady Penelope! My Lady!’, the maiden called in panic.

‘Lady Penelope! The sailors found.. something.. by the shore.’ Another girl whom was accompanying her said, hesitance in her stance and voice. ‘... You would probably want to see what it is. Or whom.’

Whom? As in a person? ‘Take me there.’, she ordered, and the servants bowed and lead the way, while avoiding the suitors within the manor.

To the beaches they went. And when she got there, she found Telemachus. On his knees in the sand, while a group of what she assumed were fishermen and sailors surrounded him not too far.

‘Telemachus?’ Penelope called, and her prince turned to see her from a distance. He wasn't supposed to be out here, she had told him not to leave the palace, but she supposes this is an exception. He had gestured for her to come over.

‘You should.. go up to him, your grace.’ A lady spoke, and so she did.

She took quick steps towards her son, the beach's sands pressing against her bare feet, not as warm than they'd usually be. She ignored how the older fishermen and ladies in waiting seemed to have hesitance and concern on their faces.

‘Mother! A sailor had washed up on our shores. He was probably hit by the storm.’ Telemachus said.

And when she had gotten nearby, she found her prince inspecting something... a body. Drenched with the ocean's waters, and blood.

Her heart seemed to stop, and suddenly there was nothing on that beach but her and the body of a man laid before her.

She gasped, yet she refused to acknowledge the face, or the wavy hair, or the scar above his knee that she saw. All too familiar belonging to the sailor. She blinked once. Then twice.

‘Mother?’ The prince's voice made her breath hitch.

Then the realization had hit her harder then the storm's waves would ever.

‘Odysseus?’

Her voice trembled. Her son turned up to her, puzzled, yet his eyes filled with dread at the name.

‘What?’ Telemachus muttered.

‘.. Odysseus..?..!’

Turns out Poseidon wasn't so merciful afterall.

She should've known. The bearer of the ocean had always been known for showing ruthlessness as mercy, anyways. ”

WHAT IF some of the Survivors had met prior to being Forsaken? I had this idea for a while but only now I'm taking it seriously (when exams are coming . good thinking Lyre).

some 'what if' ideas under cut

For example what if Chance and Elliot had met at Builder Brother's before? What if Chance was short on cash and Noob stepped in to pay for him?

What if Two Time and Azure bumped into Noob when they were on their way somewhere, and found that they were heading the same distination so they got to talk on the way?

What if Two Time and Taph were old friends before he became a vigilante? Taph had recognized them but they didn't recognize her?

What if Taph had encountered c00lk1dd with n7 and Taph hadn't the faintest clue that c00lk1dd was gonna be a well-known hacker, similar to his dad?

What if c00lk1dd had snuck into Don's casino once and bumped into Chance and iTrapped, leading the two to be very concern as to why a kid is in a casino?

What if iTrapped and Noob were siblings YOU GET THE POINT. What if they had encountered eachother before, all of them mutuals in some way. And after which they were Forsaken, they meet familiar faces, some their glad to see again and some they wished they hadn't.

"Maehara-kun," Kayano suddenly chimed in, some sort of determination in her eyes. "think about something you really, really enjoy doing. Like- a hobby, of some sorts." "That's a good place to start." Nagisa added. "You can find a career relating to whatever hobby you got." Maehara hummed in acknowledgement. He's thought of that, obviously. But that's also an issue. He doesn't really have a hobby, besides playing baseball with Sugino and the others sometimes or playing soccer some other times. Does hitting up people count as a hobby? Or punching walls? If so where would that land him in the industry? "Agh.." Maehara shook his head, chuckling. "I'll think of something, surely." He shrugged.

No dreams, no passion, no interests. Now Maehara has to do career counseling, except he has no idea what career he'd want to pursue in the future. He's never thought about it. Actually, no. He's just been avoiding thinking about it.
