so. ehehem. this is a little bit of a surprise actually but im kind of sort of maybe JUST maybe...

...planning a zombie apocalypse webcomic? (OOPS)

its nothing solid yet and its nothing confirmed! it was just a little plot bunny that emerged from one wacky and long conversation i had w a few ppl in the collidisc and got me SOOO obsessed that i decided to take the leap and try my hand at making a comic series!

the fella i just posted earlier is a 17 year old special-infected 'zombie' named 'Perch' ! they're a silly little guy and one of the main characters of my planned webcomic — along with their two besties whos names i cannot yet reveal 👁 perch is a teenager who was caught in a mall right as the zombie apocalypse hit and was swept up into a rag-tag group of teenagers who share one thing in common:

gifted kid burnout syndrome

together, this group of suspiciously talented teenage proteges learn to survive the world after its zombification, while also maybe healing along the way.

perch themself is a very happy go lucky and mischievous kid, often being the one in the group who makes the most jokes and lightens the mood with a prank or two whenever the going gets tough. however, perch is also a teen with an extreme martyr complex, so one day an incident occurs that changes them forever when they get run over by a large horde of zombies.

surprisingly not dead, perch learns that they are actually 'immune' to the zombie virus and thus did not lose their life despite being swamped. unlike most "immune characters" in zombie media however, perch does NOT gain any special powers or superhuman abilities. no super healing ability, no strength, not even not getting attacked by other zombies! they still get chased by zoms' that havent already tried biting them, and thus explains all the bitemark scars they have all over their body.

using their newfound immunity from zombie bites and knowing that they are one of the only people in their survivalist group that do not have a certain chance of death every time they go out alone, perch becomes one of the main scouts and fighters of the small group.

if you think giving one of the most self sacrificial and wreckless members of a group a special power that allows them to throw themselves into even RISKIER situations is a bad idea...

well. you'd be right!

Ohhh I love Sonata’s design!!! Ok- would they describe themselves as more introverted of extroverted? And would their friends say different?

sonata says he's an extrovert and everyone he knows would agree tbh. he's kind of an arrogant rich boy who thinks he can charm or pay his way out of any situation, so he's very talkative. it's not necessarily that he's a flirt (that would go to the bard of his party LMAO) but he loves having the attention of everyone in the room. constantly wants people to know he's rich and a prodigy of shape shifting!

in reality though, he's actually very comforted by the quiet. when there's no one around to posture to/for, sonata can read books and play games for HOURS without being bored. he's quite used to being left alone and sometimes enjoys it. he only expresses this quieter side that feels no need to entertain when he's alone with xharuk (his estranged childhood friend, royal guard, and party's paladin). so i'd say he's a bit more of an introvert!~ (xharuk still says sonata's extroverted tho bc of all his yapping LMAO)

even though it seems like a perfect subversion to being the cocky rich boy, sonata really isnt that humble lol. he loves the way he looks and is very into fashion. he likes to wear revealing and flashy clothes to show off his body n loves when people compliment him on it. sonata also loves and prides himself in his proficiency at shape-shifting as a druid and loves that he can connect with nature. sure, he definitely has some things he hates about himself especially in regards to his lore -- but all things considered? he's not totally insecure!

B - A pairing you initially didn’t consider but someone changed your mind

Ok, so initially I did not ship Hatsume Mei with Mina Ashido, mainly because I had never considered it. They never really interacted, and the thought just didn't cross my mind.

Until one day I came across someone who had said they did ship them, and really all it took was that little sentence. (I can't remember where exactly I saw it, or I would definitely insert a link) All of a sudden I was like, !!!!!! The enthusiasm they both have!!!! Mei is so smart!!!! She can be Mina's super smart GF who is a mess!!! and Mina can be the one who reminds Mei to take breaks and rest and do fun things other than tinkering!!!!!!!!!!!!!! IT'S PERFECT!!!!!!!!

And I haven't been the same since.

Ok, if I'm gonna ramble, right now it's gonna be about Hoodlum and Brawler. They are so freaking cute together!!!! They are so in love!!! I mean, really, Hoodlum blushes, full-on BLUSHES, anytime Brawler displays any sort of strength!!!!!!!! He just eyes those muscles...and goes ooop.....

And I would smack Brawler if he had the gall to lie and say he didn't enjoy the attention. He totally loves it. And I bet he isn't as duped as everyone thinks in that show. He knows Hoodlum is just full of BS when he says he has a 500 000 year sentence, I mean come on. He ain't that dumb. But I think...he goes along with it. Because if he goes along with it and doesn't challenge Hoodlum, well, that means he gets to be around that cute blushing man with the beautiful eyes. (seriously, Hoodlum has the prettiest eyes in the series. If he and Gojo (from JJK) ever met they would have a stand-off over who has the prettiest eyes).

So yeah. I adore them.

        ¿CREES SABER TODO DE LA ESTATUA DE LA LIBERTAD?

La libertad iluminando el mundo (en inglés Liberty Enlightening the World; en francés La Liberté illuminant le monde), conocida como la Estatua de la Libertad, es uno de los monumentos más famosos de Nueva York, de los Estados Unidos y de todo el mundo. Se encuentra en la isla de la Libertad al sur de la isla de Manhattan, junto a la desembocadura del río Hudson y cerca de la isla Ellis. La Estatua de la Libertad fue un regalo de los franceses a los estadounidenses en 1886 para conmemorar el centenario de la Declaración de Independencia de los Estados Unidos y como un signo de amistad entre las dos naciones. Fue inaugurada el 28 de octubre de 1886 en presencia del presidente estadounidense de la época, Grover Cleveland. La estatua es obra del escultor francés Frédéric Auguste Bartholdiy, la estatua fue declarada como monumento nacional de los Estados Unidos y  desde 1984 es considerada Patrimonio de la Humanidad por la Unesco.2.

Descripción:

Helios, personificación del Sol de la Antigüedad. Detalle de un sarcófago romano del siglo III. Los rayos de su diadema recuerdan a los de la Estatua de la Libertad.

 La estatua representa a una mujer en posición vertical, vestida con una especie de estola amplia y en su cabeza tiene una corona con siete picos, que simbolizan los siete continentes y los siete mares. Hay 25 ventanas en la corona que representan gemas encontradas sobre la tierra y los rayos del cielo que brillan sobre el mundo. La diadema recuerda a la que portaba Helios, personificación del Sol en la mitología griega. Bartholdi optó por la corona, y no se decidió por el gorro frigio, símbolo de libertad desde la Antigüedad. La estatua blande en su mano derecha una antorcha encendida, mantenida en alto. La antorcha nos remite al siglo de las luces, aunque algunos lo consideran un símbolo francmasón. En su mano izquierda sostiene una tablilla, que sujeta cerca de su cuerpo. La tablilla evoca la ley o el derecho, y tiene grabada la fecha de la firma de la Declaración de Independencia de los Estados Unidos, escrita en números romanos: JULY IV MDCCLXXVI. 

La estructura está recubierta con una fina capa de cobre, que reposa sobre un gran armazón de acero inoxidable (que inicialmente era de hierro), a excepción de la llama que está recubierta con láminas de oro. La estructura reposa sobre una base de forma cuadrada, que a su vez se apoya sobre un primer zócalo en forma de estrella irregular de once puntas. La altura de la Estatua de la Libertad es de 46 metros, y alcanza los 93 metros desde el suelo hasta la antorcha. Al pie de la estructura se encuentran cadenas rotas que simbolizan la libertad. La estatua está orientada hacia el Este, es decir hacia Europa, con la que los Estados Unidos comparten pasado y valores.

 La coloración verde de la estatua es a causa de reacciones químicas, que produjeron sales de cobre y le dieron su actual color. La mayor parte de las estatuas de cobre situadas en exteriores, salvo que se tomen medidas adicionales, acaban adquiriendo finalmente este tono tras un proceso llamado patinación. 

Datos y Curiosidades:

 *El material usado para el exterior fue el cobre: 300 paneles de 2′37 mm. Para la estructura interna se utilizó hierro pudelado.

*El escultor usó como modelo a su madre, Charlotte Beysser Bartholdi, para crear la cara de la estatua.

* El peso de la Estatua de la Libertad, lo conforman 31 toneladas de cobre, 125 toneladas de acero y 27.000 toneladas de concreto. 

* La antorcha de la estatua ha estado cerrada al público desde 1916.

 * Cuando el viento supera los 80 km por hora, la estatua se ladea unos 8 cm, mientras la antorcha lo hace con unos 12 cm.

 * En la Estatua de la Libertad han ocurrido al menos tres suicidios a lo largo de los años 

* Desde los comienzos de la cinematografía, la Estatua de la Libertad, ha sido utilizada como escenario de una multitud de películas. Una de esas películas en la que apareció fue en el filme de 1917, El Inmigrante, de Charles Chaplin. 

* Una vez terminadas todas las partes, la estatua se montó enteramente en París para comprobar que las piezas ensamblaban correctamente. Como en Nueva Yorkaúnn no se había terminado de construir el pedestal por falta de fondos, permaneció en la capital francesa hasta 1885.

  * Durante la Exposición Universal de Filadelfia de 1876 (EEUU), se expuso la antorcha de la estatua (fue una de las primeras partes acabadas). Sirvió para recaudar fondos destinados a la construcción del pedestal de la misma. Quienes pagaban 50 céntimos podían subir al balcón de la antorcha. Durante la Exposición Universal de París celebrada en 1878, la cabeza fue exhibida al público en la plaza del Trocadéro. Otras partes de la estatua se mostraron en el parque del Campo de Marte.
