A Risk Worth Taking by Heather Hildenbrand

First I will admit that I am a huge fan of Heather Hildenbrand.  I really loved this adorable sorry of new love and Summer was a strong character without losing her feminine charm. So basically you have a girl named Summer who has returned to the family farm to help her dad after her parents divorce. She is having trouble accepting her new reality and is very angry at her mom.  In walks the new intern, Ford! I won’t ruin the story for any of you but they both help each other to move on and live life to the fullest.  Great read! 

I give this book 5 out of 5 stars :-)

Exposed

I say, "talk to me," instead the silence shouts obscenities.

Warmth sung on the breeze, empty words echo back.

Bodies separated by time and space.

Every passing day, the unspoken vow to remain silent weighs heavy.

I break.

Longing for a chink in your armour, a gap in the cold, metallic plate to enter in.

Nothing.

The bronze breastplate shields a battle-worn organ: opened only to the proven faithful.

Bearing my soul insufficient, days enjoyed fall short, care in deeds not enough.

Inside I hear you shout, "Hurt me at your peril!!"

Unworthy it seems so but I'm patient, willing.

Love is pain; its reward Love in return. Pain alone though is nothing more.
