Your OCs are tasked with taking care of Madison's wolfdog Bravo while she's away on an X-Men mission! How do they do? When the mission ends up running long and Madison is a few days late in picking Bravo up, how do they adapt to that?

Oh boy.

I think I'm just going to use Arith and Iriel in this scenario so I can expand it a little more.

Arith knows Iriel loves looking after animals, that's one of her favorite ways to interact with humanity, through fostering animals, helping out with rescues and shelters, etc.

But when Iriel calls him on the phone to maybe ask for help with pet-sitting, he's a little surprised, I mean, she's been doing this for how long? It's not usually a problem for her.

But, it's not like he's going to refuse an offer to hang out with her, even if it was for something like this.

So, he shows up and immediately figures out why she called for help.

"You have a horse in your home, Iriel... and it's not Rose." Arith jokes.

"This is Bravo, the wolf-dog. I offered to look after him for a bit until his kind owner comes back from some sort of errand."

"Interesting... must be one of those eccentric types," he remarks.

"Says you." Iriel teases.

Bravo is honestly a well-mannered dog, it's just that he's huge. And when he has zoomies... let's just say fur gets everywhere. Arith nearly has a heart attack seeing all of Iriel's lovely furniture covered in it.

Iriel asks how is it different from when he's his wolf-self, and he says it's a lot different. For one, he doesn't typically shed all that much. And he's at least not running around like a maniac.

When Iriel gets the news that Madison will be late, Arith mutters something about how she better pay extra, to which Iriel responds that they don't even need the money. He says it's about the principle of it.

Once Madison finally picks up Bravo, Iriel tells her what a good boy he's been the whole time, and then she mentions how her friend, Arith has been helping as well. Arith agrees Bravo is relatively well-behaved. Madison thanks them both and Bravo has full-body wags when he realizes he gets to go home.
